What Happened at the Pig Roast?
The day was beautiful, it was sunny and warm, you couldn't have
asked for a more gorgeous day. There were 85 people in attendance, 59 members
and 26 non-members. There was so much fabulous food, we could have stayed there
for days and still had food leftover. So many different dishes, so little time to
eat them all.
A huge thanks to the Club Official Pigmeister, Herbie Yerabek,
who did not disappoint, he definitely out did himself this time and lived up to
his title. The pig and the porkettas were delicious, some of the best I have
ever had. Not to mention so snazzily dressed, you'll have to check out the
pictures on the website to see what fashions the swine were wearing if you did
see them in person. You won't believe your eyes. Karen Yerg did an
awesome job getting everyone up on their feet with her amazing choice of games.
There was whiffle ball, noodle game, apples & oranges, egg relay, water
balloons, balloon relay and dizzy bat. Thanks girlfriend for bringing your
"A Game".
The day would not have been the success that it was without the
behind the scenes crew, the organizers, setup and tear down crew. Thank you Bill
Hiller, Marilyn Hiller and Eric Hoyer for all you did to make our
picnic a great success. A special thank you to the Food Coordinator, Peggy
Czarnecki, I don't know how she did it and kept it all straight. She did a
awesome job making sure we had a huge variety of great food. You all deserve a round of applause.
My biggest thank-you goes to all who attended and made this day a
huge success. It was a beautiful day of food, fun, games, friendship and did I
mention lots of food. If you
didn't make it to The Pig Roast make sure to you don't miss our next upcoming
event, the Annual Ray Balcerzak Road Rally, Sunday, August 30, 2009.
Thanxs,
Shari

All gear is in excellent condition, and was used only for a few seasons. This is well over a thousand dollars worth of gear being sold off at a great price only because I no longer use it. (my interests changed to fishing a while back) The only item that shows any wear is the bottom of the boat, which has the normal light scratches from launching and beaching the boat during use.
I am willing to deliver boat to anywhere in the Scranton/Wilke-Barre/Hazleton Valley after completion of the sale. Please contact at elmosaurus@gmail.com or 570-862-1238
